Pale shadow of a Woman
my 2019 ‘to-do’ list
I’m not one to make new year resolutions but let’s see if I can really stick with a ‘to-do list’ at least?
Spend less time scrolling & more time offline (Instagram is the worst for this).
Put myself & my health first (sounds selfish but sometimes you have to be).
Finish reading books before stopping half way (there’s no excuse for this other than being impatient – I’ve been half way through brave new world for a year and it’s a tiny book!).
Keep playing the uke, try and spend at least two evenings a week on it.
Sort my bloody Pentax camera out, so I can shoot more on it.
Get my Lomography film developed.
Keep in touch with Sabat magazine (already going to a film premier with them on the 25th which is a good start.)
Shoot more with Lucy.
Look ‘up’ as Dad would say. (When walking around central London he’d blab on about the architecture and point out the tops of buildings, if they were Georgian or Edwardian etc. Anyway I should try & take in as much as I can on my lunch breaks instead of looking down at the floor while squeezing past people.)
Don’t stress. I’m sure I’ll ‘find myself’ at some point in the future, It doesn’t HAVE to be this year.
I can’t think of a tenth.
Bath ritual for peace, love & purification 💗
Ingredients: lavender, chamomile, himalayan salt, sea salt & moon water blessed under the super full moon that just passed 🌕✨
4 white candles & sage incense burn while I am accompanied by some of my rose quartz, clear quartz, and angelite babies. I repeated a positive chant over and over as I visualized the water purifying me, and infusing me with love and peaceful energy.
Simple and sweet 💗
I saw Chelsea Wolfe and The Cure this year, making 2018 less shit
please don’t be crohn’s disease
